Online Learning & LMS Readiness Check
Before arriving at DLIELC, please ensure your personal computer meets the mandatory technical requirements for Blackboard, our Learning Management System (LMS).

| Approved Devices | Laptops are required. Smartphones and tablets are not acceptable for classroom coursework. Note: If you arrive with only a mobile phone or tablet or without a compliant laptop, you will be issued a DLIELC laptop for your training. |
| Web Browsers | Use the latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge. (Note: Apple Safari and Internet Explorer are not supported and will cause errors). |
| Browser Check | Action: Run the Blackboard Browser Checker. Ensure all checks pass, and that cookies and pop-ups are enabled. |
| Required Software | You must have productivity software capable of creating documents and presentations. Supported programs include Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, LibreOffice Writer, Impress, or equivalent. |
| Accepted File Types | Assignments must be submitted as: .docx, .odt, .pptx, .odp, or .pdf |
| Hardware | Wi-Fi capability, webcam, and a compatible headset/microphone for language exercises. |
