Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) is a culturally rich and innovative world-class military institution. Its unique language instruction and national security blended mission offer the faculty and staff a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and the satisfaction of supporting international partnerships.

Classes are small, usually 6-10 students, and are organized by proficiency level. Instructors spend six periods with their assigned students daily. The DLIELC campus offers a comprehensive academic environment for the faculty and students. DLIELC is open year-round and work hours are from 7:15am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
